Adaptive Control APP software modules
The AC APP software modules, combined with the Adaptive Control Unit (ACU) processors, enable the development of highly efficient system solutions.
The Adaptive Control environment includes rich libraries of advanced control algorithms dedicated to electrified powertrains, optimized to reduce energy consumption and noise. The AC APP libraries address the critical control needs of EV and HEV subsystems, delivering the highest energy efficiency while reducing the overall system cost and enabling fast time to market.
The T222 processor and software are ISO 26262 ASIL-D certified.
One-of-a-kind control processor board
The software modules are developed to run seamlessly on the ACU T222 application specific processors. These innovative multi-core processors are designed to process critical information faster, with 100% predictability and high accuracy. The ACU processors are based on multiple ARM® Cortex®-R5F cores, introducing a new semiconductor architecture, combining the hardware flexibility of a real-time control unit with the software flexibility of a standard processor, into a single chip. Unlike traditional multi-core MCUs, which rapidly experience software bottlenecks, the ACU T222 provides a combination of hardware and software processing capability for high frequency, precise, and complex control algorithms, while limiting heat dissipation.
Now incorporated into CISSOIDs SiC Inverter Control Module, this provides a solution dedicated to highly efficient and safe traction and power conversion applications.
